The Weston Group Supports Relay For Life

Houston, TX - 21 Sept 2010 The Weston Group made its contribution to the Relay For Life for the fourth consecutive year.  As part of the American Cancer Society, this event honors cancer survivors and commemorates cancer patients.

Donations helped fund the annual twelve hour walk-a-thon in which 25 to 30 teams will walk all night from 6 PM to 6 AM.  Approximately 800 to 1000 fundraiser luminaria bearing the name of someone special who has been profoundly affected by cancer will line the track.  The walk begins with an inspirational Survivors Lap, continues with the Luminaria Remembrance Ceremony and team walks, and ends with the Fight Back Ceremony in which participants make a personal commitment to fight back against cancer.
