Q: What is your geographic reach?
A: The Weston Group primarily focuses on the greater Houston metropolitan area ranging from Baytown to Richmond and Conroe to Galveston. However, we have clients who are national in scope and can provide services outside of the Houston area.

Q: What does The Weston Group sell?
A: Actually we only sell our services. We are not a VAR for software or hardware, which allows us to be objective and brings our clients an unbiased perspective.

Q: What services does The Weston Group offer?
A: The Weston Group provides a wide array of services focused on supporting physician practices. These include complete planning and maintenance for computers and networks, the development of reports and custom software, and analytical and consulting services for Healthcare. We assist in designing processes, mapping them to your systems, making your systems work and finally, performing analysis to assist with controls.

Q: What size clients does The Weston Group work with?
A: Generally, we work with physician groups in the 10 to 25 physician range. We do work with groups that are larger than 50 physicians and single physicians where our services provide value.

Q: Does The Weston Group do residential work?
A: Not for the general public. We are happy to refer you to Geek Squad. We do task highly professional and qualified resources for work on home machines for physicians as this is often part of their work life.

Q: What systems does The Weston Group work on?
A: The Weston Group approaches computing as professionals. This means that we will assist you with any computer related issues. We understand how to work with vendors and daily operational issues until resolved. Having said that, we work with many Group Practice Management Solutions including GE, NextGen, Mysis, Medisoft, etc., EMR solutions from Allscripts, GE, Nextgen, Spring Systems, etc., various Dicom, digital radiology, and accounting systems such as Great Plains, Quickbooks, Quantum, etc.

Q: What potential costs will I experience from The Weston Group?
A: Costs are a function of needs and practice management objectives. Our costs are structured to be highly competitive with other vendors and are a better value than hiring your own IT group. When our services are in high demand or our clients require a more involved relationship, we establish an ongoing agreement for services. We also provide on-site services and these costs are based on specific problem areas or day-to-day needs.
